ordering GUIDE​

LAYERS & TIERS

When requesting your cake please be aware that layers refer to the amount of sponges in a cake and tiers are separate cakes stacked on top of one another:

 
 
 
 
 

NOTICE

 

We usually need 2 weeks notice for orders to avoid disappointment however sometimes we can fit something last minute in. If you have something special in mind please get in touch to discuss your ideas.

 

 

STYLE

Please note we do not make novelty cakes or use nuts in our recipes. You can see examples of our style here.

INGREDIENTS*

All of our cakes are freshly baked using the finest ingredients. Find out more here.

We pride our ourselves on catering to specialist diets including Vegan, Dairy, Nut & Gluten Free. Although we bake with the utmost care, we cannot guarantee products are 100% allergen free. 

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION

 

After finalising your order you will be sent an invoice for a bank transfer for the full amount. Please be aware your order will be processed on the condition of payment clearing at least 3 days before the delivery/collection date agreed. In the unlikely event that the order cannot be fulfilled, you will be given notice and a full refund will be issued. If you need to cancel your order please give us as much notice as possible. Once cakes have been made a refund cannot be given.

STORAGE

 

Please keep your cake refrigerated or in a cool, dark place until about 2-3 hours before serving or until it has reached room temperature for the best taste. On hotter days reduce to 1 hour before serving to avoid melting. We suggest storing any leftovers in an air tight container in the fridge (up to 3 days) and again bringing to room temperature before serving. 

TRAVEL

 

If you are collecting a cake we highly recommend it travels in the boot of your car or any flat surface to avoid damage.

PACKAGING

 

Where possible we try to use packaging that is recyclable or biodegradable.

Seasonal Fresh Fruit

 

Where possible we pair cakes with fresh fruits that compliment the flavours of the icings, fillings and sponges. 

Seasonal Flowers

 

Where possible we colour match our cakes with homegrown edible flowers. Please note however that the flowers are for decoration purposes only and we do not advise that they are consumed. 

Dried Flower Petals 

 

Any dried flower petals that come complimentary with certain cake designs are safe to consume. 

Chocolate

 

We use luxury, organic chocolate which is certified Vegan and suitable for those with allergies to Gluten. Although it is not made using Soya Lecithin- it may contain some traces of Soya. 

Eggs

All eggs used in the bakery are free range, Lion Quality RSPCA assured.
